Raavan's advice to Laxman

This happens after the war between ram and ravana is over and ravana is nearing his death, Rama asked his brother Lakshman to go to him and learn something from him before he dies.

Ram told his brother, Lakshman to go to Ravana quickly before he dies and request him to share whatever knowledge he can. He may be a brute but he is also a great scholar.

Lakshman doesn't like the idea but he goes because he is devoted to his elder brother Ram.lakshman goes to ravana and asked for advice ,Ravana says "if you have come to me as a student then you must sit at my feet because teachers must be respected before they teach".

Lakshman angrily goes back to Ram and explains what happened and Ram says he agrees with ravana and that Lakshman should have asked ravana respectfully.

So Lakshman went to Ravana and this time he stood near his feet. Ravana seeing Lakshman standing near his feet told him three secrets that would make anyone's life successful.

Ravana said, the most important lesson of life is that you must delay doing bad things as much as you can and you must do good action without any delay and as much early as you can and the last one is never have a bad relationship with your siblings because they know of all your weaknesses.

Ravana said that because his brother vibhishana was the major reason for downfall of Ravana
